Voyces: A Leader in Contemporary Choral Music in Perth
Dr. Robert Braham OAM and Luke Donohoe founded Voyces in 2011 to champion contemporary choral music. This innovative group firmly believes in the power of music to tell stories and unite audiences. As an auditioned ensemble, Voyces comprises some of Perth’s most exceptional choral musicians.
A Commitment to Excellence in Choral Music
Artistic Director Dr. Robert Braham OAM leads Voyces with vision and passion. Under his guidance, the ensemble showcases contemporary-classical choral repertoire that resonates with both musicians and audiences. In addition, Voyces performs works by Australian composers like Paul Stanhope, Iain Grandage, and Stephen Leek.

Touring and Collaborations
Voyces has an impressive history of touring extensively. The ensemble has performed with renowned artists , including the Song Company, The Gesualdo Six, Adele, Katie Noonan, Björk and VOCES8. Supporting Emerging Composers
Beyond performance, Voyces is a strong advocate for emerging composers. The ensemble believes in fostering new talent and has showcased works by local composers, including Stefan Pugliese, and Alex Turley.

The Choral Collective: A Vision for Growth

This structure allows for collaboration and resource-sharing among the various ensembles, which enhances the quality of choral music in Western Australia.
